Their relative positions can be determined by referring to the installation position drawing of the reducer. The following is mainly explained through the oil replacement, oil level inspection, the reduction gear with oil level plug, oil inspection and so on.

First, for reducers with oil level plugs

      Check the oil level for compliance; install the oil level plug.

Second, the oil replacement

      After cooling, the viscosity of the oil increases and it is difficult to drain the oil. The reducer should be changed at the operating temperature. Cut off the power and prevent electric shock! Wait for the gearbox to cool down without danger of burning!

Third, matters needing attention

      Inject new oil of the same brand; the oil quantity should be consistent with the installation position; check the oil level at the oil level plug; tighten the oil level plug and ventilator; the reducer should still be warm when changing oil; Put an oil pan below; open the oil level plug, ventilator, and oil drain plug; drain all the oil; install the oil drain plug.

Fourth, check the oil level

      Cut off the power and prevent electric shock! Wait for the gearbox to cool down; remove the oil level plug to check whether the oil is full; install the oil level plug.

Five, oil inspection

      Cut off the power and prevent electric shock! Wait for the reducer to cool; open the oil drain plug and take an oil sample; check the viscosity index of the oil; if the oil is obviously cloudy, it is recommended to replace it as soon as possible.
