How to lubricate the planetary reducer?

Time:2019-12-15

How to lubricate the planetary reducer. Planetary reducers need to be lubricated when running like other reducers. This will not only speed up the operation of the planetary reducers, but also protect the normal operation of the reducers. How to lubricate the planetary reducer? Take a look at the situation in detail below.

When selecting the grease according to the bearing load of the traveling planetary reducer, choose a grease with a small penetration for heavy loads. When working under high pressure, in addition to the small penetration, it also needs high oil film strength and extreme pressure function. When selecting grease based on environmental requirements, calcium-based greases are not easily soluble in water and are suitable for dry and low-moisture environments. When selecting grease according to the operating temperature, the main indicators should be the dropping point, oxidation stability and low temperature function. The dropping point can generally be used to evaluate the high temperature function. The actual operating temperature of the bearing should be 10-20 ° C lower than the dropping point. The operating temperature of synthetic grease should be 20-30 ℃ below the dropping point.

The planetary reducer's lubrication method is also an aspect of poor lubrication. The splash type lubrication method is mainly used in high-speed applications. It is obviously inappropriate for such medium-load and low-speed applications. Closed-life full-life gearbox with long life and less maintenance, boiler feed-in gearbox, toothed chain continuously variable transmission, planetary reducer lubrication, can also be used for centralized grease supply equipment lubrication.

The planetary reducer's irrational lubrication method and structural design defects have resulted in the unreliable application of this planetary reducer. The problems reflected are, firstly, reduced service life, secondly, loud sounds and vibrations cause frequent maintenance. In addition, the eccentric bearing and needle gear must be replaced for each maintenance, which increases the maintenance cost. The operation of the bearing is not very stable. Due to the effect of gravity and the vibration of mechanical movement, it will inevitably cause a small amount of displacement in the axial position of the bearing. This relative movement is very harmful. Constant impact may cause the elastic retaining ring. The deformation and breakage of the bearing may cause the bearing to fall off the shaft. Even if the bearing does not fall off, a large noise may be generated due to vibration.
